How do I make an appointment?

Just call us at 562-433-7652.  Our office manager will ask you a couple of intake questions.  You will then get a call back from one of our therapists who will set an appointment with you.


How do you decide who I see?

From the information you provide us, you will be matched with the therapist who deals with that issue(s).


Do you take insurance?

The insurance industry has changed significantly over the past few years.  Yes, we do take most insurance but our office manager will check on your insurance prior to your first session so you will know the financial responsibilities before you come to the office.


How do I pay you?

We ask that you pay for each session prior to the session.  We accept cash and personal checks.


Do you take credit cards?

Yes.


How long will I have to wait for an appointment?

Usually we can schedule you within a week or two.


Who comes to the first appointment?

If you are an adult you come.  For children, we see the parents the first time without the child.  This allows us to get a detailed clinical history while at the same time allowing you to ask any questions you may have.


What ages do you see?

We are a full service office so we see children as young as three to adults of all ages.
